As we reopen the Royal Institution venue for business meetings and filming, we want to tell you how we are keeping our guests safe in our central London venue.
We are proud to have earned our ‘We’re Good To Go’ accreditation from Visit Britain, meaning that we are ready and waiting to host your meetings and events according to government guidelines.
Updated Space Capacities
We understand that physical distancing will be part of the new working normal, and we want to support your events in a safe environment. Our nine flexible spaces offer a choice of room layouts to ensure perfect practicality and beautiful aesthetics for your event. We can also accommodate business meetings for up to 30 guests in all of our major event spaces. Our new capacities ensure that we can keep you and your guests safe and comfortable in our event venue.

Ensuring Safety On-Site
Our employees are experts in our new hygiene measures, and all staff and guests are asked to wear face masks in the building.
There are sanitising stations throughout the Royal Institution venue to allow guests to sanitise their hands regularly.
All guests and staff are temperature checked on arrival by our infra-red scanner, and we are displaying the NHS QR code to allow you and your guests to use the NHS track and trace app.
We also have clear and discrete signage throughout the venue to assist with social distancing and directional flow.
Enhanced Cleaning Protocols
We have worked with our facilities team to create an enhanced cleaning schedule to ensure our hygiene standards meet and exceed the guidance provided by the government.
This enhanced venue cleaning schedule includes hourly cleans of major touch-points throughout events and regular deep cleans of the event spaces.
Advanced Technology
We have brought expert technical partners on board to livestream your events, both to a broader outside audience, but also between spaces within the Royal Institution event venue.
This digital adaption allows us to accommodate a greater number of guests for your event and allows you to reach the biggest audience you can.
