Working with KaptchaTV has allowed us to expand our filming, webcasting and livestreaming options in our iconic Mayfair events venue. The Royal Institution is accustomed to filming in our historic Theatre but this new partnership has allowed us to expand this offer to all of our major spaces across the building such as the Library and the Conversation Room.
Corporate filming and livestreaming is a fantastic way for us to support our regular clients to deliver their events in the current climate. Our first event with KaptchaTV was a livestream of a townhall and staff appreciation event that is normally held in our venue. The challenge with this event was to replicate the live experience and allow our client to achieve the same level of connection with their employees virtually.
As their event is normally hosted in our lecture theatre with an audience of 400, we needed to work with our client to provide the perfect corporate filming space that still reflected the elegance of our historic spaces. KaptchaTV took the presentation and streaming aspects in hand, working with the client directly to plan their content, create short films and provide rehearsal opportunities for the speakers. The livestream took place in our Library with the team from KaptchaTV managing the livestream leaving our clients to relax and enjoy their event. The Writing Room, an intimate meeting room with views out on to Mayfair, was used as the production office where the KaptchaTV team were able to manage the stream as it went out to staff across the country. Our luxurious Georgian Room was used as a catering space and green room to allow presenters to distance and go through their content prior to their appearances. The Searcys team delivered an exemplary refreshment service including new safety protocols to make sure we could meet our guests needs while keeping them safe.
The livestream worked smoothly under the expert management of KaptchaTV enabling the client’s event to run perfectly and in fact expanding the reach of the event significantly as the stream was able to be viewed in our clients office’s across the globe. A triumph for virtual and hybrid events, we look forward to working closely with KaptchaTV for future events. Interested in filming in or streaming from the Royal Institution?
